The Senior Solution Architect, D&T, Network Engineering and Cyber security collaborates with network engineering and security organization to define, deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions. This role will also help design & deliver technical solutions for Network, Cloud and security. This role has primary accountability for the delivery of Network engineering, Cloud Architecture and security including project delivery, system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Possesses deep understanding of the overall vision and business needs and utilizes this knowledge to collaborates with Network engineering and security organization to define, deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
• Utilizes knowledge of best practices to define strategic direction, determine business needs and design & deliver technical Network and Security solutions, doing so in partnership with Application teams. This includes interpreting up to the most complex issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of the optimal technical solutions.
• Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements.
• Uses breadth of expertise to solve complex problems.
• Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
• Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• 8-15 years of related work experience
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
• Preferred but not required: CCIE R&S, VMware NSX, Azure, Checkpoint.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep expertise, understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure Network and Security \xe2\x80\x93 SD WAN, Routing and Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud Networking and Cyber Security.
• At least 2 end-to-end implementations of Cisco Routers and Switches and firewalls.
• Cisco ISE and Network segmentation knowledge required along with VMware Network Function Virtualization (NFV).
• Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient English language skills
• Willingness to global travel
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this
• Able to comply with the company\xe2\x80\x99s safety and quality policy at all times

Physical and Travel Requirements

• 15% travel, including global travel
• Occasional on-call work required
• Prefer 12Noon \xe2\x80\x93 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
