Job Summary:

The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP BPC possesses in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of SAP Embedded BPC Applications. The role is proficient in the areas of solution design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Working in a global environment, this role has a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones.

This role must have hands-on experience in SAP BPC Embedded on Hana, data warehouse design, Extraction & Reporting, Planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Should independently work on Embedded BPC , BW on Hana.
• Understand requirements from Business and provide technical solutioning.
• Solid understanding of Budgeting/Forecasting for SGNA/COGS.
• Independently write fox formulas/ Planning functions/Planning Sequences, MS Excel macros and debug Planning functions/Fox formulas etc.
• Create/Design BPC Admin or planning workbooks
• End to End BPC Implementation and support experience.
• Experience with Work Status and setting up end to end BPC security.
• Lead designing, implementing, and supporting the SAP BPC Embedded.
• Create planning objects like ADSOs, Composite providers, Planning filters, Aggregation levels, Workbooks, Planning functions, Planning sequences etc
• Support Business Adhoc Data loads on Month ends
• Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions for junior developers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree preferably in Engineering or in Computer Science field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in the areas specified under Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise in BW Advanced data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
• Expertise on Dimensions and Models in SAP BPC.
• Good Understanding/Experience on Analysis for Office & other Planning Tools.
• Expertise on BPC web admin & Expertise in programming languages like Fox formulas & ABAP.
• Worked/Knowledge on frontend tools like Analysis for Office other reporting tools.
• Worked extensively on Finance Extractors, HR Head count, Flat File Extractions and Generic Extractions. Having knowledge on using SAP delivered information structures, User defined information Structures for extracting data from different Logistic Information system (LIS).
• Worked on Retraction from SAP BPC to S4HANA and able to configure write Functional modules to enable the same.
• Expertise in front-end Business Warehouse Components like Queries, Calculated Key figures, Restricted Key figures, Structures & Cells, Variables, Exceptions and Conditions, RRI, Web Items and Web Templates & Reports, Input Ready Queries/Planning Templates.
• Expertise in writing user exits or Function modules using ABAP code for BEX variables, extraction logics, transformation logic etc.
• create planning objects like ADSOs, Composite providers, Planning filters, Aggregation levels, Workbooks, Planning functions, Planning sequences etc.
• Expertise in BPC Security and work status setup.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this .
