About the Inspire Global Innovation Center

Inspire Brands is disrupting the restaurant industry through digital transformation and operational efficiencies. The companys technology hub, the Inspire Global Innovation Center in Hyderabad, India, will lead technology innovation and product development for the organization and its portfolio of distinct brands. The Inspire Global Innovation Center will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate the companys business strategy. Inspire Global Innovation Center will also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.



The Network Engineer in this role has key ownership of day-to-day activities within Inspire Brands Corporate offices, Data Centers and Cloud networks. Additionally, this role functions as an administrator of the Corporate Telephone system. This position has a very strong operational focus, requiring a disciplined engineer with meticulous troubleshooting skills. Along with providing hands and feet support on a daily basis at our Minneapolis Support Center, this engineer manages the Network team queues within various ticketing systems. Operational excellence is expected and will be evidenced by results.

Duties and Responsibilities
Description
Manage the ServiceNow ticket queues for the Network team, driving requests from creation to completion.
Follow established processes, suggest improvements and meet established OLAs/SLAs tied to operational support.
Interact with various IT teams and business units to understand requirements and troubleshoot outages.
Monitor Zscaler ZPA configurations for client access to internal resources
Administrator of VoIP phones for MN Corporate office. Work with MSPs and Inspire staff to troubleshoot call issues.
Create change controls and defend them for approval at Change Review Board meetings.
Monitor network services and respond to alerts. Identify any trends or irregular activities and escalate to leadership.
Create and maintain documentation and network diagrams.
Support corporate AV needs as necessary.
Perform asset management and maintain hardware inventory.
Identify opportunities for improved efficiency in automation.
Ensure licensing compliance across firewalls, switches, and access points.
Provide after-hours support as needed.
Provide ad-hoc support for projects as needed.

Education Requirements
Min/Preferred Education Level Description
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree BS/BA degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Preferred Other

CCNP-level of knowledge expected in networking theory, although active certifications are not required.

Cloud and automation certifications are a plus.

Ability to change design, build new call structures and troubleshoot operational issues.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in-person, over the phone and in writing.
CCNP-level of general networking knowledge (mid-level skills, a master of fundamentals but not yet considered a SME
Complete understanding of TCP/IP protocols and the OSI model.
Ability to fully configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers regardless of platform due to your mastery of networking fundamentals.
Skilled with Cisco IOS, IOS-XR, Nexus, FTD and ASA code.
Skilled with Palo Alto Firewalls.
Skilled with Fortinet firewalls and Fortinet suite of management applications
Skilled with Zscaler
Complete knowledge of VPN encryption technologies (IPSEC, RA). DMVPN is a plus.
Ability to support Azure and AWS networks.
Knowledge of Avaya PBX systems.
Knowledge of Network Access Control technologies.
Ability to build and support corporate AV systems.
Working knowledge of other IT facets like Server, DB, Storage, Security, Cloud, etc. to see the big picture.
Highly developed analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems using a methodical troubleshooting approach.
Ability to interpret packet captures and take action based on the data.
Ability to maintain focus and resolve when priorities rapidly and often change under pressure.
Ability to manage small projects.
Strong technical documentation skills.
