Candidate should have good understanding of AUDIO VISUAL, VIDEO, CCTV EQUIPMENT Candidate should have the Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Candidate should have Pleasing, Presentable, Fluency in local language and English. The activity includes Setting to work, installation and tests of system modifications as well as through life support of the ship by means of periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on board, trouble shooting, repair and testing of the electronic components/subsystem and obsolescence management.Tools Handling Skills
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for customer satisfaction through quality of service and through regular, proactive, and precise on-site communication (callout ETA, job performed, etc) Responsible for accurate and real time back reporting of work performed (at the equipment level) in order to ensure the accuracy of e-Optimum and Customer Notification Accountable for maintaining excellent relationships with the customers, the contact person and end-users presents on site, by applying the Ambassador attitude. Accountable for equipment safety and performance Accountable for managing the site environment during service operations Accountable for identifying site risk, and communicate them to his supervisor Accountable to take immediate action on site in case of high risk identification and to apply the escalation procedure. The activity includes Setting to work, installation and tests of system modifications as well as through life support of the ship by means of periodic preventive and corrective maintenance on board, trouble shooting, repair and testing of the electronic components/subsystem and obsolescence management.Roles and ResponsibilitiesIn this role you are responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and can effect short-term and some long-term business goals.Perform the functionality test as per procedures.Perform the cold checks (channel check) as per procedures.Reporting the work progress and eventual functionality defects and solutions.Manage and provide the maintenance activities: troubleshooting, interventions, reporting, assistance by mail or phone, training of crew onboard or on site, defining schedule of maintenanceProvide program site leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other GE field personnel in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of assigned product linesPerform on-site installation of systems and equipment and ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration after installationAccurately document as commissioned documents for record keepingRespond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipmentProvide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer's sitesMaintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standardsKnowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for wide range of equipment vintageAssist customer with improving reliability and reducing cost of ownershipProvide single point of contact to the customer, customer team, and all other GE stakeholdersAssist customer with spare parts ordering &, issues resolutionRequired QualificationsMasters/ Bachelors/Diploma Degree from accredited college / university in Electrical Engineering or allied Engineering.Knowledge base of electronics and control systemExperience (5+ years) on site setting to work and commissioning of automation systems (better if onboard military ships)Understanding of electronic diagram/schemeCapability to manage concurrent and different tasksGood Analysis skills and strong attention to detailStrong oral and written communication skills.Candidate should Identify hardware and software solutions and troubleshooting technical issuesInstalling and configuring hardware and software.Evaluation and prioritization of customer support cases.Act as the primary liaison between company and your customers.Candidate should communicate and solve customers problems via phone, email, live chat and face-to-face meetings.Candidate should work with all internal groups, including support, sales, engineering, product management, and consulting.Preparation and submission of accurate and timely reportsRequirement: Candidate should have work experience as a Technical Support Engineer.Candidate should be from Audio Visual Industry.Candidate should have the Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.Candidate should have Pleasing, Presentable, Fluency in local language and English.Engage Customers: While performing on-site work, AV technicians must provide outstanding customer service and develop working relationships with their clients.Conduct Quality Control: Technicians skilfully run video, audio, and signal testing. Use objective analysis to spot issues and eliminate them before an event. Ensure all connected systems operate at peak performance.Operate and Troubleshoot Sound and Video: Trouble shoot and problem-solve and handle equipment malfunctions well, even under pressure. Ensure the systems are working properly in case of any fault.Experience : Minimum 1-2 yrs in repairing of Audio/ AV equipment ( Promising Fresher may also be considered). An associate's degree in audio-visual technology or a related field, such as digital media, is also useful.
