Sr.electrical Engineer Power System Design
Job Description
Responsibility: 1. Evaluation of power evacuation feasibility in terms of – bay availability, evacuation capability etc. 2. Design and costing of – power evacuation from Solar PV output at LT side up to interconnection of MV or HV levels. 3. Support sales during pre-bid activities and execution team during the project execution wrt to design and costing. 4. Identify and shortlist contractors for execution of power evacuation system including – plant end substation, transmission line and bay extension. 5. Coordinate approvals from CEIG, metering department and other related agencies for approval of the power plant. 6. Good knowledge of Substation design – MV and HV levels. 7. Understanding of regulations wrt power evacuation – CEIG, CBIP as well as state regulations. 8. Sound knowledge of substation protections. 9. Good knowledge about the selection of – transformers, breakers and protection system. Education - Bachelor’s degree in engineering [Preferably Electrical]. Experience: More than 10 years of experience in substation engineering
