It’s in our differences that we empower the way the world learns Job Role The SRE Instructor's main responsibility is to enhance the base level skill and competency of our Alumni graduate population by designing and conducting training in key software, methodologies and programmes used by Wileyedge’s clients. They will also be responsible for reviewing and continuously improving the training provided, gaining feedback from their delegates, Wileyedge employees, senior management, and Wileyedge’s clients. It is essential for the post holder to be comfortable in an agile and fast paced environment in a fast-growing company continually blazing new industry trails. The position requires someone front facing, proactive, organized, and innovative, with knowledge in the latest training concepts, designs and methods. How you will make an impact:

  • The researching, design and writing of engaging and industry leading training materials.
  • Delivery of training courses in an engaging and professional manner, using a variety of different training delivery techniques with travel as required, expected to be around 25-50%.
  • Conducting and organizing technical interviews and assessments.
  • Contributing to continual process improvement through cross-department collaboration.
  • Mentoring our Alumni and Alumni Pro graduates, including on-site visits.
  • Responding to and liaising with HR on new training requests and any performance or pastoral issues.
  • Assisting with technical component of appraisals of our Alumni population.
  • Keeping abreast of latest trends in technology, learning deeply enough to create materials on strategically trending technologies.
  • Evaluating all training interventions through trusted L&D methods.
  • Aiding sales colleagues with client technical requirements including interpretation, definition, requirement analysis, implementation plans.
  • Joining the sales team and other senior consultants in high level business development and sales meetings – Highlighting the expertise of Wileyedge to deliver bespoke training.
  • Conducting remote training and interview preparation.
  • Prepare and conduct monthly webinars for our alumni consultants on-site. Essential and Preferred Skills and Experience
We are looking for people
  • Experience in training design and development and training delivery.
  • Strong technical skills in SRE, DEVOPS, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Git
  • First class presentation skills, engaging and passionate delivery.
  • Expert at Powerpoint and other related software.
