JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Job would involve Thermal Design & preparation of data sheets for all types of heat exchangers, calculation for the rating and design of heat exchangers, review and coordinate and supervise other exchanger engineers. Candidates should have extensive experience in thermal design/adequacy check of shell and tube heat exchangers and air fin exchangers with thorough knowledge of HTRI/ HTFS software to exchangers for the refining/petrochemical industry. Under broad direction, functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities of the company. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies. The candidate shall provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Candidate shall be managing direct reports, establishing individual performance goals and objectives and reviewing performance against objectives. Good experience of Pinch analysis would be an advantage. Additional experience and knowledge of Mechanical Design/Aspects of Shell & Tube exchangers shall be added advantage. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines. Ensures that all personnel assigned to the operations receive appropriate safety training and adhere to all safety standards.
