The Senior Tax Analyst - Transfer Pricing supports the company\xe2\x80\x99s transfer pricing efforts. The Senior Analyst is responsible for transfer pricing reporting and planning and assisting with transfer pricing audits to maximize savings opportunities that contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling payment and reporting obligations.
Responsibilities:

• Transfer Pricing Compliance \xe2\x80\x93 Review transfer pricing studies and foreign tax returns for completeness and planning opportunities. Review alternative transfer pricing positions to determine the most appropriate, cost-effective filing position. Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure the efficient assimilation of international tax information with the Federal, state, and local income tax returns. Review technology and process improvements to improve transfer pricing enforcement. Review Honeywell\xe2\x80\x99s IRS \xe2\x80\x9creportable transaction\xe2\x80\x9d disclosure process.

• Transfer Pricing Audits and Controversies \xe2\x80\x93 Participate in the development and evaluation of strategies to successfully defend tax filing positions related to transfer pricing. Model and evaluate alternative transfer pricing settlement positions. Lead the coordination and implementation of audit strategies. Stay abreast of legal developments and industry positions in order to accurately evaluate options and responses to requests for information.

• Transfer Pricing Financial Reporting \xe2\x80\x93 Evaluate uncertain tax reporting positions and business combinations in order to properly reflect the tax treatment as related to transfer pricing of such items in Honeywell\xe2\x80\x99s financial statements. Review Honeywell\xe2\x80\x99s Sarbanes-Oxley process for financial reporting purposes. Analyze the transfer pricing aspects of financial projections and forecasts. Lead technology and process improvements to ensure accurate, timely information provided to Honeywell financial reporting group.

• Transfer Pricing Planning Activities \xe2\x80\x93 Partner with business and corporate units to identify, initiate and develop transfer pricing planning opportunities, which maximize savings on a defensible basis. Model and evaluate tax consequences of alternatives. Review proposed transactions to properly advise management of tax consequences.

Reports to: Director, Global Transfer Pricing Attributes / Skills Required / Sought:

• Broad technical knowledge of transfer pricing law and regulations.
• Excellent business acumen with a sound understanding of the transfer pricing implications of a multi-national manufacturing company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues.
• Effective presentation skills.

Must Have:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in tax, accounting, finance, or economics
• A minimum of 3 years directly related and progressively responsible transfer pricing and/or international tax experience

We Value:

• CA/CPA and/or advanced degree preferred
• Big Seven accounting experience desired
