The Senior Steward oversees the cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of the kitchen or food service support areas. This role supervises stewarding staff, ensures proper sanitation, and supports culinary and service teams by maintaining equipment, inventory, and hygiene standards. The Senior Steward also plays a key role in training staff, coordinating shifts, and maintaining safety and compliance protocols.
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in stewarding, kitchen operations, or hospitality services (2-4+ years).
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Good knowledge of sanitation, cleaning procedures, and food safety regulations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
