Introduction:

We are looking for a highly result-driven and organized individual who has between 2 to 4 years of experience in selling products to digital publishers across various content verticals like News, Education, Sports, Fashion, Finance and various other emerging content channels. Primarily content websites/apps. We’re looking for a well-rounded individual who has walked the journey of adding long-term and sustainable value for publishers and has a deep-rooted understanding of publishing technologies.

The Role:

  • Drive sales growth across the defined Target Market - North America
  • Hunt for publishers (apps and websites) headquartered out of the Target Market.
  • Evaluate opportunities with publishers and find the right value fit.
  • Negotiate and close agreements.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM for the defined Business Unit in the Target Market.
  • Represent the company at industry events in Target Market – networking and sales.
  • Provide feedback to product managers on how the product could evolve in the Target Market.


What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Track record of closing business deals and achieving annual sales targets.
  • Strong rolodex of contacts among digital publishing decision makers in the Target Markets.
  • 2+ years of experience doing deals with publishers in digital media.
  • Track record of successfully selling ad tech products.
  • Knowledge of Google ad monetization ecosystem. (GAM, ADX, AdSense, ad networks and demand partners]
  • Great communication skills – oral and written – at least in English and Hindi or a local language.
  • Fluent with Powerpoint to create decks which highlight the value add for the publishers.
  • Fluent with Excel to create business models and deal simulations.
  • Good analytical skills (i.e.. ability to decipher problems and growth areas from reports).
  • Travel across India as and when required to close a deal, kick off new relationships, or for events and conferences.
