Sr.Automation Engineer - Sr.SDET:
As a Sr. SDET, the person must be both an Automation Testing and a Functional Testing expert (8-10 years).
Qualification:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong team skills, are required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical studies

Skills and Requirements SDET:

• Strong JavaScript, Java, or any programming language
• UI Test automation experience in any framework (e.g., Selenium Webdriver, Puppeteer, Playwright, Cypress, Protractor)
• Expertise in Test script development, execution, and debugging
• Experience building test scripts using existing automation frameworks
• Exposure to continuous integration (Jenkins/CircleCI/Github Actions).
• Experience in testing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong functional/manual testing background, including defining test strategy, test planning, test case design, and execution
• Agile testing experience
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail, strong communication skills

Good to have (Optional)

• Experience building/ enhancing automation frameworks
• Mobile testing/automation experience
• Experience in API testing PostMan, Rest Assured API
• Experience with Git and AWS
• Experience in leveraging AI tools in day-to-day QA activities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Lead and contribute to QA automation efforts across web and API
• Design, develop, and execute automated tests for new and existing product features.
• Maintain, enhance, and expand the automation framework and regression suite.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Operations to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for faster, reliable releases.
• Partner with Team, Product Owners, and QA Regression teams to identify gaps in automation coverage and close them.
• Debug, triage, and document issues identified through automation; work closely with developers to resolve.
• Promote shift-left testing practices, ensuring test cases are defined early and automation is embedded in development workflows.
• Act as a champion of quality engineering, mentoring other SDETs and ensuring coding/testing standards are followed.
