Job Description

We are hiring a Senior Sales Manager - South India to lead business development and sales strategy for the adhesives division of a global specialty chemicals organization. The role focuses on expanding the company's footprint across wood and paper adhesive markets through strategic market penetration, customer engagement, and sales excellence.

  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the adhesives division's presence across South India.
  • Identify, map, and acquire new customers in the wood and paper industries for water-based adhesive solutions.
  • Promote the company's brand and product portfolio through effective lead generation, conversion, and customer relationship management.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, trade fair participation, and promotional activities to enhance visibility.
  • Collaborate with technical and R&D teams to deliver tailored adhesive solutions for industrial applications.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Forecast sales, set regional targets, and analyze performance metrics to ensure achievement of business objectives.
  • Build and manage channel partners and distributors for enhanced regional penetration.

The ideal candidate will have
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing of water-based adhesives, polymers, or specialty chemicals
  • Deep knowledge of the wood, packaging, or paper industries with proven success in achieving sales growth and managing industrial clients
  • They will be a strategic, self-driven, and customer-focused professional, fluent in Tamil, Kannada, English, and Hindi
  • A background in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science will be a strong advantage.
