This is a full-time salaried position located in our officein Ahmedabad , supporting the teamand the client The Quality Assurance (QA) role is the role responsible for guaranteeing alevel of quality for the end client, and to help the software development teamto identify problems early in the process This document highlightsroles and responsibilities for QA Lead Requirements- - 6+ years proven experience as a QA engineerwith 3+ years of experience as a QA Lead - Experience in AWS or equivalent qualification. - Understanding of SDLC, STLC and QA methodology. - Understanding of business processes and projectmanagement practices. - Understanding of the workings of Scrum and Agileprinciples. - Experience with root cause analysis and abilityto propose viable solutions. - Working knowledge of AWS, SQL, NoSQLDB and API. - Experience with QA Automation tools likeSelenium and Postman. - Ability to document in detail. Must Have: Minimum 4+ years of Automation testing experience in Selenium with Java Soft-Skills- - Passionate for technical excellence - Self-starter; Fast learner and ability to adapt. - Efficient multi-tasker - Ability to work independently and as a team andAbility to train team members. - Effective communication skills and Excellentattention to detail. - Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude. - Strong organizational skills. Responsibilities- - Review and analyze business requirements, followup with BA to clarify any questions and participate in discussions. - Proficiency in analyzing business, technical,and functional needs, and requirements. - Responsible for creating test outlines,assigning JIRA tasks, preparing the environment etc - Guide other QA resources on areas of testing. - Coordinate product specific KT sessions withBAs and other resources. - Collaborate with teams across time zones. - Ensure documentation of detailed test cases andtest data organization. - Review test strategies and see that all thevarious kinds of testing like functional, performance, Integration, end-to-endetc are getting covered. - Constantly evaluate and update test cases. - Plan and identify the types of testing requiredfor each iteration, sprint, and release. - Review test cases for comprehensive testcoverage, approve and resolve JIRA tasks. - Identify manual test cases for automation andprovide recommendations. - Apply diverse designs and document theautomation test strategy. - Create an automation test plan. - Participate in Selenium Environment Setup withan Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and for DevOps Integration. - Must Work closely with QA other team members toautomate the execution and verification of reports created by the variouscompany products. - Will work closely with various Dev team membersto understand testing objectives and ensure that problems are resolved in atimely and efficient manner. - Prepare Reusable functions, which improve therobustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts. - Must be able to take on leadershipresponsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, and itsschedule and prioritization. - Conveys challenges with environment, processetc and works with the Manager to address such issues. - Assist implementation and partner teams on an asneeded basis. - Collaborate with other team members to improvethe overall QA process. - Ensure that the several testing and validationprocesses are improved continuously. - Ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures forJIRA tasks when created and or assigned. - Keep raising the bar and standards of all thequality processes with every project.
