Lingpad is on a mission to transform the language industry! We are looking to extend our talented web development team by bringing on board a highly experienced Python Developer who enjoys a fast-paced, innovative environment where the team strives to push the limits of traditional software development daily.

Responsibilities:

• Closely work with the product management team to transform the product roadmap into the engineering plan.

• Convert high-level engineering plan into an agile sprint plan with accurate effort estimation ensuring smooth.

• Take ownership of features you are developing & drive towards completion by working effectively with your team.

• Develop REST APIs required for the application.

• Proactively discover & learn new frameworks, technologies & improve efficiency of the team & performance of the application

Experience: 2+ Years

Qualifications: B.E. / MCA / MSc(CS/IT)

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience as a Python/Django Developer

• Expertise in Django and Django Rest Framework

• Understanding of RDBMS concepts.

• Good knowledge of Data Structures, OOPs.

• Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM).

• Strong unit test and debugging skills.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.

• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

• Understanding the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.

• Troubleshooting & debugging skills.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with front-end technologies

• System Architectural Skills.
