Job Title: Sr. Purchase Manager

Location: Kim, Surat

Industry Preference: Waste Recycling

Must have experience as Sr. Purchase Manager From Waste Recycling background industry

The Senior Purchase Manager will manage the procurement of materials and services needed for the waste recycling process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for raw materials and stores.

Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers

Evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.

Inviting quotations for purchases and negotiating the best deal for the company

Managing data and reports on ERP software related to purchase & provide training to the team.

Coordinate with the costing department for costing targets and negotiate with suppliers to meet the costing targets.

Manage the purchasing team and ensure that all support the goals of the waste recycling business/ pet bottle industry/ waste management industry.

Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products.

Develop and maintain purchasing metrics and KPIs

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

Manage the process for supplier selection, evaluation, and approval.

Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.

Skills:

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)

Experience with regard to procurement software.

Negotiation skills

Research Skills

Education Qualification:

BBA, MBA (Specialization in Supply Chain Management preferred)
