DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking an experienced Sr Program Manager who is looking to work on making the Amazon Appstore digital content experience on Amazon supported devices seamless.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manger to lead multiple efforts across digital content for Appstore team at Amazon. In this role, you will partner with many functions to clearly define requirements, and you will own defining the programs, mechanisms, and processes necessary to communicate these requirements and ensure all teams deliver on them. You will also play a key role in improving customer and app developer experience. Last but not least, you will play an important role in redefining how our App quality certification teams execute against the goals and requirements of business

A successful candidate will have a passion and a track record of leading operations, creating large scale programs, defining and refining mechanisms, and successfully rolling them out to deliver results. They will have a balance of high judgment, analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay the course no matter how challenging the goal.

The role is flexible to be positioned from any of the three locations: Bengaluru/Chennai/Hyderabad

- Conduct effective meetings (business and program reviews) and able to dive deeply into details as easily as convey high-level plans with clear and concise verbal and written communication. Transform raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements (e.g., project charter, statement of work, responsibility matrix, functional requirements, implementation approach, reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master\'s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
