DESCRIPTION BizComTech\'s (Business Commerce Tech) - Premium 3P Seller Technology team primarily focuses on initiatives in the building tools and tech for our top (Premium 3P) Sellers to run their financial operations and accounting business process. We exist to ensure that the sellers have the right, best in class, intuitive, efficient and scalable technology to run their day to day financial operations. We have ambitious goals to scale growth and adoption of the tech beyond IN and make it WW and delight our customers. We are also cognizant that we have a significant sizeable opportunity in front of us to innovate on behalf of our sellers. We have this been growing as a business and now we are growing as a team. We are looking to add a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PM-T) to the Product Management - Tech team to own some of our most important mandates as we look to re-architect the tech stack. Given this role is a more technical product role (aka \'Product Manager - Technical\'), you are also someone who has worked close to the software development process (probably as an engineer or working closely with an engineering team), contributing to technical and architectural decisions which impact the short, medium, and long-term success of your products. Key job responsibilities As an ideal candidate, you have a passion to empathize with customers, understand how our technology stack interplays with different user processes and be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the engineering leader and impact tech decisions, imagine target architecture and challenge decisions - always working customer backwards. You will work across the our sellers / finance stakeholders, your engineering team, UI/UX where required, partner platform teams (where we leverage) and spend at least 40% of your week in engaging customers to build the right tech!. You are responsible for defining and driving our tech-product roadmaps. You will also work with in-house software teams to identify new features and projects. As our lead product strategist, you must analyze the potential customer and financial implications, select the most promising ideas, prioritize them and create a cohesive roadmap. You will also evangelize new features to our clients, working to accelerate their adoption, track the impacts, and communicate results with senior leaders. You will have metrics as a P0 on your roadmap and challenge any stakeholder who thinks otherwise. This role is a technology centric role and thus you would be seen as someone who is comfortable discussing database choices, scaling rationale, getting into the weeds of db schema, feel confident to deal with security, be able to talk \'platform architecture\'. You will infuse and advocate a modern mindset where you will identify opportunities where AI/ML would be a better choice to traditional ways of analyzing data and help drive alignment. A day in the life This is a highly visible position. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives and align your roadmap with Amazon\'s strategic objectives. Excellent written, verbal communication and data analytical skills are a necessity. About the team The Premium 3P Tech team is comprised of Product Management, Technical Program Management, and engineering practitioners with experience ranging from 1 to 20 years in the field. Prior to joining this team, we have come from many disciplines, different sized companies . We share a passion for solving the hardest problems for our premium sellers, for learning to be better at our craft and for becoming a center of excellence in Technical Product Management. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Bengaluru, KA, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor\'s degree - 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making - Experience working with Architects to build the right architecture. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools - Experience delivering large-scale SaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
