This role works as an integral part of the India Procurement Team within the Teva Global Procurement organization. Global Procurement strives to generate and deliver ongoing value through year-over-year savings and to ensure the supply of goods & services for Teva at optimal TCO. The focus will be to ensure stability of services that is in line with defined current and future business needs at lowest total cost, in addition to strategy development. This role will be the primary Procurement interface with the key stakeholders and will support all relevant procurement activities in complex and large area of spend (Capex/Opex /MRO/Service Contracts, Material and Services Spend).

Long Description

• Build effective relationships with key stakeholders to gain alignment of procurement and process improvement strategies and plans.
• Ensure on time delivery of all activities.
• Build effective relationships with sensitive and strategic stakeholders.
• Manage certain local and global suppliers, undertaking supplier performance improvement actions as required.
• Drive innovation and the development of potential new suppliers and alternate sources.
• Lead relevant procurement activities in India
• Understand legal and commercial aspects of negotiations and contract management. Lead the negotiations of key supplier agreements.
• Aggressively perform against savings targets.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects multiple global and local interfaces.

Short Description

• Engendering /Procurement - must (MBA an advantage)
• At least 10 years\' experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Comfort around higher management

• Has a business sense and negotiation skills/ability

• Willing and able to do overtime when required
• English - High fluent level- must
