Client: A Leading D2C baby product brand was founded in 2014 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Company is having annual turnover of around 200 Cr. & employee strength of 200 employees & they are providing international safety standard certified bay products by their e-commerce website & online market platforms like Amazon, Flipkart & other leading online & offline platforms.
Designation: Sr. Manager- Production & NPD
Sector: Ecommerce
Location: Factory / Playpipers
Salary:9,00,000-10,00,000
Qualification: BE / B. Tech in Mechanical / Plastic / Production Engineering
Experience: 15 Years
Job Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30PM
Working days: 2nd and 4th Saturday off
Roles & Responsibilities:

• Production Management
• Lead and manage overall production operations for plastic, metal, and electrical assemblies.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production planning and adherence to targets.
• Optimize machine utilization, manpower, cycle time, and productivity.
• Implement process improvements, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• New Product Development (NPD)
• Manage end-to-end NPD lifecycle from concept to mass production.
• Coordinate with design, tooling, procurement, QA, and production teams.
• Oversee DFM/DFA reviews, prototype development, trials, and pilot runs.
• Ensure timely launch of at least three new products per month.
• Identify potential manufacturing risks and implement corrective actions.

Key Requirements:

• BE / B. Tech in Mechanical / Plastic / Production Engineering
• 15 years of experience in plastic injection moulding manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, and process parameters
• Experience in shift handling and manpower management
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
