DESCRIPTION Amazon India\'s Consumer Marketing organization is looking for a seasoned professional to lead one of the key priority verticals (Amazon PRIME) in the category and brand marketing team. This high visibility and business critical role will drive strategic thinking and coordinate execution to launch and build category and brand campaigns across traditional and digital channels. Key responsibilities for this role are: . Define the marketing and communications strategy for PRIME across channels and customer cohorts to deliver the business goals, working closely with the retail and PRIME teams. . Define and execute Prime member acquisition and early engagement plans in India, including building cross-benefit engagement (shipping to streaming etc, and vice versa). . Lead and develop a team of brand marketing managers to achieve and execute marketing and prime launches in India and fuel their growth going forward. . Interface directly with worldwide PRIME marketing and consumer marketing teams, central teams across Marketing, Prime, Finance, Retail and tech, and work closely with external agency partners on an ongoing basis driving leverage, project prioritization, and cross-team execution to drive results. . Leading critical projects across customer lifecycle to drive growth for PRIME in India Key job responsibilities In this role, a successful candidate must be customer obsessed, collaborative and combine an ability to think big and execute quickly with a strong ability to challenge status quo and experiment fearlessly. While planning for long-term and scalable solutions, you will be quick to experiment, iterate and react to the business and customers\' needs basing your decisions on data. More specifically, you will: . Leverage customer insights and business needs to build campaigns (e.g.: marketplace launch campaigns) and identify new opportunities (e.g.: build new channels, such as social media and influencers) to drive awareness and demand. . Collaborate with external and internal partners to create programs, experiences and content achieving your goals (Creative & Design, PR, Agencies, Legal and Category management). . Deliver your programs to our customers in partnership with media, Prime, and India retail teams. . Forecast and measure your programs\' impact in partnership with finance, insights, and measurement teams. . Influence without authority a wide bench of senior stakeholders globally and locally to shape and deliver the consumer and business agenda. . Need a keen eye for creative, communication development based on incisive consumer insights and sharp messaging. . Need to have an keen eye for detail, the ability to do deep analysis when needed while keeping a high-level comprehensive perspective at all times. . Author multiple documents relating to your program recommendation, execution and optimization and anchor high stakes, high leverage leadership reviews. . Establish the right processes and mechanisms to empower your team to execute and optimize flawlessly and efficiently and enable fast decision making. . Build an inclusive team and train them to be agile and fit to win in a highly dynamic and diverse landscape, navigating ambiguity with ease and equanimity BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 12+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience MBA Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience defining marketing strategy and executional excellence Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A Successful candidate would be a seasoned marketer with deep marketing knowledge, broad experience across a wide span of disciplines including strategy, media, Customer acquisition & engagement, and/or product marketing.
