Job location - Bangalore Summary/Objective: This role will focus on conducting, developing, and reporting liquidity risk assessment framework and results for the Enterprise. This includes conducting stress testing across major legal entities for activities with potential for liquidity demands (derivatives, insurance stresses, securities lending, and capital market activities). The candidate will be expected to challenge the status quo by analyzing data, ensuring appropriateness of the stress test assumptions and methodologies, and proposing new assumptions and methodologies where appropriate. Essential Functions Delivery Management: . Assist to deploy Liquidity risk measurement and reporting framework including the impact of the interest rate risk in banking book through tools such as interest rate sensitive gaps, Earnings at risk analysis, duration gap analysis, stress testing, etc. . Sensitivity analysis on credit spreads, market risk impact and risk-free rates . Tracking and modelling of key risk indicators e.g., Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Loans to Deposits etc. . Analysis of new products to understand financial risks and model potential hedging strategies . Assist to develop Segmented RWA reporting to increase transparency on capital usage and business performance. . Formulation of appropriate stress testing norms for the bank and regular assessment of capital and liquidity positions under stress scenarios . Continuously challenge the status quo by analyzing data, ensuring appropriateness of the stress test assumptions and methodologies, and proposing new assumptions and methodologies where appropriate. . Build statistical models and analysis to support decision making including financial risk measurement and valuations, including concepts such as VaR, credit spreads etc. Governance & Reporting: . Ensuring appropriate controls are in place and applied to maintain consistency of reporting processes across the submissions . Track operational delivery status to the plan and report any variance via management reporting . Assist with internal and external audit requests and respond to follow up questions timely Decisions . Routinely makes recommendations that require approval to implement with the occasional decision without approval. . Occasionally makes recommendations that require approval does not make impactful decisions that do not require approval. . Routinely follows defined process. Skills . Excellent written and spoken communications skills . Relevant product knowledge, including knowledge of liquidity reporting processes and policies. Knowledge of Basel III liquidity standards will be of advantage . Extensive knowledge and understanding of the external regulatory environment and capital management. . Stress testing, CCAR, DFAST or equivalent exposure . Able to get along with internal/ external stakeholders and ensure interactions are of a high quality of service . Efficient and well organized, able to work under tight deadlines . Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask . Ability to be flexible with job duties, shift timings (3:30 pm to 12:30 am IST) and scope of work . Proven capability to work independently without hand holding and exercising sound judgment & initiative Education and certifications: . CFA / FRM / GARP qualified . MBA - Finance . Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Experience: . 12-15 years of proven experience in Treasury, Capital & Risk Management, or similar functions . Experience with a Treasury Management System (SAP, FIS, Wall Street, QRM etc.) is a strong plus . Understanding of key Treasury processes like Bank Account management, Treasury Reporting, Hedge Accounting, Analytics, Working Capital, Managing FX Risks etc. . Experience of working within Banking/ Financial services industry . Experience of managing/ leading process improvement initiatives .
