Danske Bank's future landscape builds on distributed systems. We will achieve this by moving banking capabilities to cloud platforms, exposing their functionality as and Events. Using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to understand our business and decomposition our systems, implementing the strangler pattern to move targeted capabilities to the cloud, and using API and the CQRS pattern to design micro-services.
In the API Adoption & Architecture Tribe, within the Tech Innovation & Foundation organization, we enable other tribes across the Bank to accelerate their API and modernisation journey. Facilitating DDD workshops, identifying architectural approaches, educate developers on the creation of proper APIs and streamline the developer journey through common capabilities and reusable libraries.
The job includes working independently with describing patterns, facilitating domain discovery with different banking areas and support designing solution architecture with teams of developers.
As an architect, you will both be working with a squad and the architect chapter. The squads are building APIs for a banking domain. Your role will be as DDD facilitator and support for designing the architecture. In the architect chapter, you will be working with a team of architect, where you, together are defining and describing patterns and standards for APIs and event-oriented architecture and giving talks on patterns and practices for developers in the IT organization.
You will also be supporting our Cloud Architect and Multi-cloud team in identifying best practices for developing solution for the public cloud.
It is essential that you have a background as a software engineer with 5+ years of experience. You have work with architecture, both domain and application architecture for 3+ years. We expect that you are familiar with:
