The Power BI developer will be responsible for overall analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of medium to large scale Data Warehouse BI projects. This individual will work closely with IT business partners and cross functional teams to ensure successful, on-time delivery of various data warehouse projects as well as drive initiatives to improve the existing applications. This person will need to be able to learn quickly, work in a fast-paced team-driven environment and can communicate well with both business users and technical teams.
Required Skills:

• Exceptional background in analysis, design, development, customization, implementation, and testing of DWBI/Power BI applications. Also supporting applications in production environment, handling Application Sustenance & Operations (Production support), Enhancements and Development with Incident management system like Service now, JIRA and able to triage issues
• 8+ years of experience in the IT field; Minimum 4+ yrs. experience in designing and developing BI reports/dashboard using SSIS/SSAS & Power BI visualization tool - Power BI reports development, administration, and development of tabular and multidimensional data models.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills designing and developing high volume database/data warehouse applications - design goals of ER modeling for OLTP and dimension modeling for OLAP.
• Exposure to Analytics & Cloud technologies, web services and cloud data pipelines for data acquisition/ingestion/integration/enrichment/consumption. Understanding of Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse i.e. Pipelines, Synapse-SQL, Synapse -Spark engines, Python, R is desirable.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM and Marketing applications will be an advantage.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer Science, Software engineering, or related discipline
