JOB SUMMARY Infrastructure Specialist will ensure ongoing monitoring of current performance to ensure appropriate levels of capacity have been provided. Also responsible for providing trends for planning capacity upgrades, Performing capacity monitor ing, analysis and tuning activities. Identifies Risks & prepare Mitigation plan. Works on Server Upgrades Migrations. Identifies the tasks which can be automated and creates scripts for automations. Works on Root Cause Analysis and creates appropri ate measures on repetitive issues JOB RESPONSIBILITIES # Expertise in Implementation and Administration on backup tools # Good understanding on De-duplication, Replication and Disaster Recovery concepts # Participate in Restores, Software Upgrades,D ata Migrations, System Refreshes, Agent Upgrades and Patching activities. # Co-ordination with multiple stake holders, third party vendors for break-fix. Must be able to lead critical outages issues and root cause analysis. # Creating Standard Operat ing Procedures and Knowledge database documentation. # Change Management: Independently prepare, review, implement, rollback and test plan for change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes, may lead or participate in a Change Advisory Board.
