About our Team:

The Health Markets PMO is a global team of project managers who deliver a variety of software & product development investment projects for the Health division of Elsevier. This portfolio includes products to help clinicians make better decisions at the point of care, educate nurses and global medical professionals, and improve every patient outcome. We coordinate workstreams across technology, product, commercial, compliance, regulatory, safety (including Medical Device Registration), finance, strategy, and customer support.

About the Role:

As a Sr. Implementation Project Manager, you will define, plan, and deliver complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and management of inter-dependencies between a group of projects and/or related activities within the constraint of scope, quality, time, and budget. Includes the management of a group of matrixed employees and contractors that serve on the program(s) to deliver solutions for the business. You will also be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing support of Elsevier\xe2\x80\x99s products for India-based customers.

As a member of this team, you will manage product development and project implementation, obtain requirements, evaluate, and determine the objectives, goals, and scope of multiple complex projects, and overcome barriers. You will be responsible for networking across organizations to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment. This includes creating, monitoring, and providing ongoing communications to appropriate stakeholders while coaching and facilitating the effectiveness of a team by growing their capabilities to organize, manage, and make decisions. You will also identify risk areas and provide alternative strategies to leadership that address concerns as well as manage interdependencies or dependencies between projects or programs in addition to managing project process documentation.

In this role that is both customer-facing and technical, you will provide customer support and guidance throughout the implementation process by providing an outstanding customer experience, removing roadblocks, building relationships, and leading improvement initiatives. You\xe2\x80\x99ll act as a trusted advisor to our customers, ensuring adaptation and maximum value from our solutions. You should have a passion for driving customer success.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Executive Sponsor and Business Owner of a Program, and other management as required, to achieve the Program objectives.
  • Working with business and technical team/s to drive out program strategy and approach. Organize, plan, and maintain a program roadmap consisting of cross-functional activities/projects.
  • Working with business and technical organizations to assemble project teams. Lead Project and/or Program team in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined program.
  • Acquiring an understanding of the business objectives for an assigned area.
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on Program status inclusive of scope, schedule, budget, and alignment to Program and strategic goals. Directing corrective action, as needed, to maintain the viability of the Program.
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships. Deliver presentations of project status to effectively communicate throughout the project life cycle.
  • Adhering to the Organization\'s project management methods, project life-cycle methodologies, and audit requirements. Support and contribute to the improvement of project management methods and practices.
  • Functioning as the project manager and customers\xe2\x80\x99 primary point of contact
  • Developing customizations and configurations and prioritizing, track, and drive product implementations.
  • Driving successful implementation and adoption of solutions to new customers
  • Conducting calls with each customer to ensure open lines of communication and problem resolution.
  • Monitoring and maintaining a high level of focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzing usage reporting from key customers.
  • Responsible for partner relationships and retention
  • Liaising with customers and product development teams
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working alongside subject matter experts in Health Information Technology and Healthcare customers. We need someone who enjoys a good challenge and is excited about helping take our organization to the next level. You should be a self-starter who will dig in, working with limited supervision.

About the Requirement:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 10 years of project management work experience
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.)
  • Extensive experience solely managing budgets ($3M+)
  • Change Management experience
  • Experience providing regular reports and summaries to management.
  • SmartSheets, Microsoft Project, or other PM tools, 5 years
  • Agile knowledge
  • Go-to-Market knowledge.
  • Strong professionalism and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Customer service and technical support experience
  • Experience in working in an international matrix organization.
  • Experience working in a business-to-business environment.
  • Ability to learn new skills and assimilate knowledge quickly.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Growth mindset, bias for action, innovative
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Languages: Hindi and English required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Project management certification (Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years of Healthcare IT project management experience and working knowledge of hospital and clinic departmental workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of current IT and Healthcare technologies
  • Practical knowledge and training in healthcare privacy and data
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Solid project management skills. Previous demonstrated experience leading Business/technical projects, building project plans and leading project meetings.
  • Strong project delivery skills \xe2\x80\x94 accurate project planning, delivering to milestone dates, managing resources effectively, communicating status effectively, managing risks, and can juggle multiple activities at once to accomplish goals.
  • Experience working with JIRA, SmartSheets, Confluence, or other similar tools.
  • Solid technical skills including working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the corporate mission.
  • Ability to work flexibly and able to multitask; self-motivated and can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems.
  • Exemplary communication skills (written, presentation, meeting management, and documentation)
  • Experience partnering with other project stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate project impacts.
  • A results-oriented outlook with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
