Job Description

A Senior Hyva Maintenance Supervisor oversees Hyva tipper truck maintenance, managing a team of mechanics and drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations, efficient vehicle uptime, and compliance with maintenance standards and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, scheduling and performing repairs, managing maintenance records, controlling spare parts inventory, developing preventive maintenance plans, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to optimize fleet performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance technicians and drivers, assigning work to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Fleet Maintenance:Conduct routine inspections of Hyva tipper trucks, perform troubleshooting, and manage repairs to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Preventive Maintenance:Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of the fleet's equipment.
• Safety & Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, leading safety inspections and promoting a strong safety culture.
• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment history, and repairs to identify trends and forecast future needs.
• Inventory Management:Monitor and manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring materials are available to expedite repairs and keep costs down.
• Budget & Resource Management:Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget, manage maintenance expenses, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
• Continuous Improvement:Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes, recommend equipment upgrades, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Reporting:Monitor and report on key maintenance performance metrics, communicating concerns and progress to senior management.
