Location/Division Specific Information (Laboratory Products Division, India Engineering Centre (IEC), Hyderabad No more than 2-3 sentences) Discover Impactful Work: Selected Candidate will work on Software design and development for some of the latest User Interface modules that goes into our products A day in the Life:

• Independently design, develop, implement and unit testing of Embedded Linux firmware for User Interface (HMI) work on NPD or NPD Support projects
• tackle exciting field issues
• work on Innovation ideas to contribute to our Products and Process

Keys to Success: Education

• Masters or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, Information Science engineering or related field or equivalent with proven experience of minimum 12 years in relevant industry

Experience

• Must have at least 2 implementation Experience in User Interface on Qt and QML with most recent version for embedded applications in any domain using 4.3"/5"/5.7"/7" touch screen displays
• Strong firmware development experience on embedded Linux/C/C++ for ARM plat forms, aware of different controllers & clearly understands critical architectures.
• Experience is writing resource optimized code and bench mark the resource usages
• Able to independently write sophisticated C & C++ programs applying modularity, reusability
• hands one experience in code analysis static, dynamic analysis using industry standard tools
• Experience in application development and Linux device driver development / modification in kernel mode is desired
• Experience with Uboot, Buildroot or Yocto is required
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Very good with data structures, design patterns, object-oriented design and algorithms used in programming.
• proven understanding of TCP/IP, USB interfaces, Serial interfaces is must
• Experienced in various bus interfaces like CAN, SPI and I2C, protocol implementation
• Dedicated, creative and can work independently to drive timely closure on projects/activities with high quality.
• Clearly understands different options & applies optimization techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to review and evaluate code and writings of others.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Experience working with and effectively communicating (listen, speak, present and write) to all levels of management and build teamworks outside of the program team
• Independently works on analysis and review of VoC to build technical specification
• work on defining the test plan and reviewing test data, perform RCA to establish cause & effect.
• Reviews design concepts, trade off analysis in meeting the technical specs and product requirements
