Role Purpose:

The Sr. Functional Support Analyst is a key member of the global HR Systems team whose primary focus is the configuration and support of Workday. We will be looking forward to you participating in the development, implementation, and enhancement of the Workday system while upholding strict data integrity and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, we are currently in a period of transformation within Talent Acquisition which provides a great opportunity to actively participate on the development and enhancement of the new Talent Acquisition system (SmartRecruiters) and its associated processes.

The Sr. Functional Support Analyst primary focus is the configuration and support of Workday, our Human Capital Management System, and SmartRecruiters, our Applicant Tracking System. The incumbent in this role will be responsible mainly for the delivery of enhancement requests and additional projects, whilst also assisting our Support Team in providing the required service relating to incident management.

You will be required to collaborate and work closely with internal stakeholders, think creatively about solutions and balance business needs with system capabilities, while additionally thrive in an environment where you get to utilize your critical thinking, communication, and analytical skills. Accountabilities:

Accountabilities

  • Understand Workday implementation and configuration, while independently provide solutions to the issues raised by the users within agreed Service Level where required.
  • Support the resolution of multiple ticket types including Incidents, Service Requests and Enhancements (Support process may include trouble shooting/root-cause identification, solution planning / ideation, and configuration as is relevant as well as performing quality control/quality assurance steps for other team members)
  • Embrace the challenge of learning a new technology including all configuration areas relating to Syngenta\xe2\x80\x99s new Talent Acquisition system: SmartRecruiters.
  • Lead on all Talent Acquisition related requirements within BAU Support team, inclusive of leading configuration and testing activities.
  • Analyze incidents for themes relating to technical issues or end user training requirements and progress for the required resolution.
  • Monitor and continuously refine our HR Systems internal Knowledge Base, utilizing analysis of incidents to provide a common understanding of Workday and SmartRecruiters, to maintain guides updated.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement existing configurations or processes, considering BAU learnings, trends analysis and recurring issues.
  • Lead system release reviews by identifying impact/enhancement opportunities associated with a new release features/functionality as well as any associated regression testing.
  • Partner with members of the wider HR Systems team, such as HR Systems Delivery Team, for knowledge sharing, alignment, and upskilling.
  • Identify and recommend business process improvements between SmartRecruiters and Workday, and/or system optimization opportunities to better align with business needs.
  • Proactively and continuously pursue skills and professional development and training, and acquire new technical knowledge and abilities.
Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:
  • Professionals or Students from Business Administration, HR, or related careers.
  • Advanced level of English (mandatory)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Education required: * Greater than 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of working within HR Systems
  • A minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience relating to at least one of the following technologies:
  • Workday
  • SmartRecruiters
  • Other Talent Acquisition Systems
