JOB SUMMARY The Functional consultant provides strategic and operational analysis services to business and delivery partners, usually focusing on one functional area. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-de pth understanding of customer s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges, and translate t hem into technology requirements. They work on small to mid-size projects and assist other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES # Maintain deep knowledge of industry standard s, methodologies, processes and best practices. # Manage client relationships and expectations through a sound communication process # Stay current with client needs and strategies utilizing formal and informal written communication methods to shar e updates and findings # Facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design, ensuring data is reliable and valid. # Create project documentation and engage with Project Management, Systems Requirements, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support. # Collaborate with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process SPECIALIZATION Mindtree provides SAP consultancy, support and SAP se rvices for some of the world#s leading organizations.
