The Senior Finance Supervisor in the Global Finance Center (GFC) Business Analysis & Planning team is the single point leadership interface for one or more of the GBEs within a HON business. This leader will play a part and lead the team in supporting the GBE’s Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan and Forecast processes as well as providing monthly management reporting. He/she will lead a team that creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to ensure sound decision support to management. JOB DESCRIPTIONReporting and in-depth analysis of monthly financials (P&L, B/S, Free Cash Flow, Indirect Spend, Working Capital, etc.)
Operational expertise in STRAP/AOP/Forecast processes
Develop meaningful and insightful business metrics and guide business counterparts in decision making process
Partner with SBG/SBU/GBE & COE Leadership to enhance current process metrics & performance measurement system in line with Honeywell as well as, key industry practices
Partner with business counterparts in building financial plan and estimates and the associated variance analysis compared to actual
Implement process improvement plans by developing tools and other solutions with cross functional teams
Identifying opportunities for process improvements which include driving efficiencies in the work area to speed up and improve the quality of output, by way of sharing best practices
MUST HAVE
Qualified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant or MBA Finance
10-12 years’ experience in FP&A with some years’ experience in Supply Chain
At least 3 years People management experience
Good knowledge of ERP systems
Presentation skills and Stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Accounting Policies/ US GAAP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
Great Story Telling Skills – Ability to draw actionable insights from complex data
Ability to lead cross cultural high performing BAP (FP&A) team of 5-7 people
WE VALUE
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Gplot etc.
Strong Financial, Problem Solving, Quantitative and Statistical Analysis Skills
Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, ETL tools like Alteryx, Talent etc. are preferred
Excellent organization, project management and time management skills
Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing work environment and requirements, work under pressure with sense of urgency, and meet tight deadlines
