Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging (like jars, bottles, pumps, etc.), and other necessary supplies. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manage stock effectively. Monitor stock levels, manage inventory turnover, and optimize storage to minimize waste and ensure materials are available for production. o Prepare and process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials. Analyse spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement initiatives to optimize procurement costs. Work closely with R&D, production, quality control, and other departments to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is often preferred. 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position.

Skills

:

In-depth knowledge of the cosmetic industry, including raw materials, packaging, and supply chain management. Experience in vendor management and good negotiation skills. o Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain optimization. Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with ERP systems and procurement software. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
