Job Overview

This role should review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment along with performing Accounts Payable/fixed assets related financial closing activities with necessary management reports and analytical schedules. This role also include task related to preparing Vendor Reconciliation, ensuring completeness of cost for allocated area and reverting to the query of department/Vendors for accounts payable related area.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day engineering payable activities. i.e invoice processing, follow up with treasury/bank, resolving user queries
• Prepare and report daily invoice/payment tracker
• Should have experience in fixed asset accounting for assets acquisition, retirement , CWIP
• Responsible to ensure completeness and accuracy of fixed assets register by timely capitalization and asset retirement with month-end closing activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries and adjustments
• MIS- Review, Monitoring & Control of Budget vs Actual -Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations
• Ensuring all the fixed asset schedule compliance pertaining to IGAAP and IND AS, Schedule of companies act
• Ensure timely month end closure for respective area and expense schedules
• Good Presentation skills / Preparing MIS and dashboard for Management presentation
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software and tools i.e SAP HANA, MS Office

Skills & Attributes

• SAP P2P system process knowledge required. VIM system knowledge is desirable
• Airline industry experience is desirable
• Strong communication and advisory skills and you are able to deal with complex issues
• Understanding the business and stakeholders\' needs through day-to-day interactions
• End-to-end accountability, problem-solving skills, growth & critical mindset in ambiguous situations
• Multi-cultural acceptance, ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Proficiency in English and in another language

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Aviation industry experience will be preferred

Qualification

• CA/CWA Inter or Graduate from a recognized university
