Job Title: Sr. Solution Architect
Job Responsibility:

• Candidate will be responsible for leading the technology initiatives to push Organization/Department forward while helping them solve difficult technology problems.
• Candidate will be responsible for coming up with appropriate architecture for new application, providing consultation for re-architecture of existing applications using best-fit technology/platform.
• Candidate will be responsible for coming up with a technology stack, which will be at par with industry standards, fits with the proposed architecture and fulfills business needs.
• Candidate would also be in charge of interacting with architects from other areas in the organization and drive technology decisions.
• Candidate will also drive initiatives in the area of Cloud, DevOps, FOSS and API first.
• Candidate will be responsible for driving innovations toward technology area, by bring new solutions/ideas to help organization gain full digital value.
• Must have the will to explore new technology areas and drive the team of architects/technology leads to make them aware of new technology areas on a continuous basis.

Enterprise Architecture

• Should have relevant experience in influencing architecture decisions beyond application level. (Organization or Department level)
• Should have worked with architects in other areas in order to take architectural decisions.
• Should have a working knowledge of platforms at enterprise level.
• Have good awareness of industry best practices and technology moves.

Solution Architecture

• Should have worked in defining architecture of at least two large-scale applications from scratch.
• Should have experience in making technology upgrades or re-architecture of two applications.
• Have a good breadth of technologies in order to compare and choose the best-fit technology for a given use case.
• Knows best practices of architectures in the area of responsibility.

Microservice/Container/Docker

• Should have in-depth knowledge of how microservice world works.
• Good experience in building microservice based application to run on Dockerized environment
• Good conceptual knowledge of container and any one container orchestration platform.
• Aware of microservice architectural patterns and have used them personally while working in microservice based applications.

System Integration

• Should have very good knowledge on how system integration works using different technology.
• Well aware of pros/cons of different integration tools/platforms.
• Good understanding of event driven architecture using Apache Kafka. (Or Similar)

Cloud Architecture

• Should have good conceptual knowledge on IAAS, PAAS, SAAS, CAAS and FAAS.
• Should have worked on atleast one of the native cloud platform like AWS, Azure or similar.
• Have in-depth knowledge of one of the CAAS or PAAS based platform (Kubernates, PCF or similar)
• Have working experience of transforming atleast 1 application from non-cloud environment to cloud-based platform.

DevSecOps

• Should have a good understanding of different kind of Security scans.
• Is able to resolve findings coming out of different scans.
• Is aware of different methodologies/tools used in the area of DevSecOps.

FOSS

• Should have good understanding of various FOSS offerings in different technology areas (like Database, APP Server )
• Should have been understanding of different FOSS license terms.
• Have personal experience of building and making applications open for collaborative contribution.
