Job Description

Your mission: The main mission is to ensure the supplier partners are developed in line with the Epicor’s Quality Expectations. Generate quality assurance at the source. Sustainability in supplies quality is the key. Your main work area is Supplier Quality Assurance of Hydraulics, Drive lines, Electrical & Standard parts commodities. The results need to achieved in collaboration with Commodity, Incoming Quality, Assembly Quality, Procut Quality, Parts & Service team and Suppliers. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities

• Handling supplier related non-conformance
  • Attend the rejection on production line.
  • Understand the reason of rejection form Assembly and Product Quality team.
  • Drive the Root Cause Analysis with concern supplier.
  • Ensue timely mistake proofing actions are submitted by supplier and the same are communicated back to the NCN raiser.
  • Evaluate the supplies mistake proofing actions are adequate.
  • Follow up until successful implementation.

• Drive the First Sample Development.
  • Actively participate in new supplier selection as per Epiroc guidelines.
  • Drawing study, component study, kick off meeting to discuss and agree the process.
  • Supervise the first article during manufacturing and the first sample validation is part of process.
  • Developing the first-time right is key.
  • Document the process for future reference.

• Process Setting is a very important activity.
  • Setting appropriate process for already developed parts & sub-assemblies.
  • Need to be done in an organised fashion.
  • You will lead and coach your supplier’s team towards continuous improvement focusing on long-term sustainability.
  • Advice and ensure the supplier have adequate documentation, fixtures, tools and gauges.
  • The process should have in-built quality as sustenance is key.
  • Again document the process for future reference.

• Monthly Supplier Meeting –
  • Create yearly pan for non performing supplier.
  • Yearly schedule for month meeting for these suppliers needs to be prepared and communicated in time.
  • Involve appropriate cross functional team and conduct monthly meeting to monitor the progress with respect to action plans.
  • This will include their improvement areas.

• Plan and conduct yearly audits for the significant suppliers in line with Epiroc standards.
• Safeguard sound implementation and application of the Principles & Guidelines of "The Epiroc Way".

You will report to the Quality Manager – Supplier Quality Assurance within Sourcing function. Your profile
We see that you have a proven record in the area of Supplier Quality Assurance. With experience of handling hydraulic, pneumatic, engine, driveline, standard items & if electrical added advantage. You have a personal drive with entrepreneurial spirit and high level of energy combined with a humble approach and respect internal and external customers. You have a genuine interest in finding new ways of working paired with a desire to always challenge the current situation and find "a better way", while at the same time respecting experience of how the things are done currently. We also believe that you have a University degree or similar through experience. Competencies:

• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Good analytical Skills & troubleshooting of hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
• Proactive and a team player
• Good understanding on EHS Standards
• Hands on operating MS Excel, MS Word, Internet
• Good Technical skills.
