Analysis center of excellence has an immediate opening for a Senior Engineer - FEA who will be responsible for performing Finite Element Analysis for system and component levels using ANSYS. This position needs to perform all aspects of structural designing, which involve the use of linear static analysis, Non-linear Seismic analysis & vibration analysis.

The candidate should be able to execute the base design analysis, interpret the results and suggest design modifications to meet all the design requirements. This position will be supporting different counterparts for their FEA requirements in Vertiv organization around the world. This position will be located at Vertiv Global Engineering Center, Pune, India.

Job Specifications:

• Must have Full Time ME / MTech. with specialization in Machine Design/ Aerospace/ Production from a reputed Institute.
• Undergone on Solid mechanics/FEM/Strength of Material/Mechanical Vibration during the masters.
• Must have minimum 6 years of analysis experience in ANSYS Workbench with modeling experience in Space claim / Design Modeler.
• Must have expertise on Linear, Non-Linear, Modal and Vibration Analysis using ANSYS Software.
• Proficiency in model idealization and creating good quality Shell meshing.
• Having knowledge of creating a solid mesh. Ability to do connections and integration (Weld/Bolt/contacts etc.)
• Comfortable in working with Creo/Pro-E for model chunking.
• Able to Interpret analysis results for base design and suggest modification.
• Debugging any issue in creating the FEA model and resolving any solution error
• Sound knowledge of fundamentals of finite element analysis theory, solid mechanics, and free body diagrams.
• Desirable experience in telecommunication and electrical industry products.
• Experience in seismic Analysis and Knowledge of industry standards (IBC, UL, and Telcordia) will be added advantage.
• Excellent command of the English language, Willingness to learn, good analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate positive attitude, high ethics, and a working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment.
• Good experience with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
