Job Overview
Responsibilities require the incumbent to possess functional expertise in manufacturing plant engineering along with customer relationship skills to virtually lead projects which assess, solve and improve plant productivity and optimize manufacturing costs by leveraging Reliability, Controls and Systems Engineering.

Technical Problem Solving:
- Analyze cost and performance data, diagnose root cause of 4M losses and make recommendations to improve system, equipment and material requirements
- Be proficient in the use of Continuous Improvement tools such as Loss Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Why-Why Analysis, Daily Management Systems
- Understand and leverage reliability metrics, system planning and cost tracking systems
- Collaborate with plant and corporate engineering teams for diagnosis, solution design and creating recommendation report and for implementation support.
- Engineering Inventory Management- Develop strategy and Identify critical spares and propose min-max stock level while optimizing costs.
- Facilitate Breakdown Elimination by providing solutions for repetitive/chronic/sporadic problems.
- Developing knowledge base on key GMI technologies covering both process and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s
Implement Relevant Recommendations:
Reliability Engineering:
- Develop maintenance plans: apply technology knowledge such as Lubrication, Fasteners, Hydraulics as well as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
- Identify essential spare parts to be stocked to bring down repair time at lowest inventory cost
- Demonstrate impact of work delivered on equipment uptime and maintenance cost
- Analyze and engage to optimize storeroom inventory cost sustainably

Platform POC
- Lead platform engagement independently for multiple plants
- Develop knowledge base on platform processes, systems and technologies
- Cross-deploy learnings in the platform
- Engage and manage platform stakeholder relations
- Ideate/Lead/Facilitate platform improvement projects and ensures implementation.
- Explore opportunities for continuous ES engagement with platform plants
- Own and deliver PMA/project work as per the timelines and with required quality levels.
- Delegate tasks to PMA support team and maintain healthy work pipeline.
- Define maintenance strategy for the plant and facilitate implementation.

Perform as a Subject Matter Expert
- Coach and mentor other engineers on the team as well as plant employees
- Work effectively in a cross-cultural virtual team using influence and collaboration
- Create, maintain and adhere to process documentation and strive for continuous improvement
- Take self-initiative to learn about GMI systems, processes, technologies and Supply Chain
