However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The INOPC team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than80 countries. Your responsibilities

• Coordinate & lead multiple/complex projects within budget by meeting all KPI\'s (Quality, OTD, Efficiency, Budget)
• Design & execute the project in line with customer specification / FACTS standard/Global standards Viz IEC, ANSI, IEEE etc
• Reviews and approves scope, budget and schedule for assignments and ensures quality deliverables.
• Completes risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one\xe2\x80\x99s area of responsibility and creates work plans and cost estimates in one\xe2\x80\x99s area of responsibility.
• Provides cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract. Ensures adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
• Interacts with customers, officials, contractors and others. Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
• Tender execution as per customer/FACTS requirement and preparation of Manufacturing documents for cubicles.
• Preparation of FACTS Plant design drawings (Secondary).
• Designing and estimation of Aux. AC & DC power requirements and designing of LV, MV Switch boards including battery systems, UPS and Voltage stabilizers.
• Estimation & Sizing of LV Aux. power, control cables, communication cables & Indication cables
• Preparation of Specification and Request for Proposal documents for Cubicles, Cable, Junction boxes, Aux. system etc,
• Purchasing of cubicles, cables, Junction boxes, AC & DC switch boards, MV Switchgear, Battery system, UPS & Voltage stabilizers etc.
• Co-ordination with other departments (Mech. / Control / System Design/Commissioning).

Your background

• Bachelors in B.E/ B.tech in Electrical & Electronics or EEE.
• Should have 12 -15 years of experience.
• Must have experience in Substation Project Execution,Secondary Engineering and Control & Protection Design, EPC Project execution.
• Commissioning with Protection Relay configuration & Testing experience will be added advantage.
• Good to have HVDC or FACTS control & protection design.
