Introduction: Using cutting edge Data Engineering and modelling solutions and processes, design and develop data models that have highest predictive abilities, that can be continually refined and are underpinned by robust DevOps and Software Engineering practices and toolsets.

What will you be doing?

• Senior Developer for Data Engineering programme
• Works closely with Tech Lead, Testers, Solution Architects, Engineering Leads, Designers and Business to develop and deliver most optimal solutions towards programme’s data engineering requirements
• Provides subject matter expertise to the team of data engineers in the field of Data Analytics, AI/ML, ETL and RDBMS, related tools, methodologies and frameworks
• Develops machine learning models on large data sets that can be utilized for enhancing personalized customer experience and extending them with meaningful products and services.
• Lead/support data integration activities that are integral towards building sophisticated and highly accurate predictive models
• Ensures to adhere to best coding practices and follows all prescribed guidelines for design and coding.
• Builds solutions that conform to quality standards, are highly scalable and meet all the defined security and performance criterion.
• Works closely with Engineering lead to achieve engineering excellence objectives w.r.t Productivity, Quality, Right First Time and Innovation.
• Leverages large volume of datasets to generate visualizations and insights of customer behaviour, preferences and needs providing key input to overall solution design
• Identifies, highlights and mitigates risk on an ongoing basis through defined channels and processes
• Explores, experiments and innovates on advanced, cutting-edge methodologies and techniques to build smarter and seamless data models and solutions
• Seamlessly uses DevOps toolset to build CI/CD pipelines and deploy solutions on cloud Environments.
• Responsible for delivering highest quality data engineering solutions (Visualizations, AI/ML models, Analytics, Data Processing) as per schedule, cost and quality requirements using programming languages such as Python, Scala or JAVA) and technologies such as Kafka, Spark and RDBMS tools on a module level
• Proficient in data architecture, micro services, database design and data modelling techniques along with cloud deployments and quality assurance activities
• Hands on experience in data analysis, data masking, data virtualizations, data modelling, master data Management along with various data integration and ETL activities using tools such as Informatica or Ab Initio.
• Continuously enhance the efficacy of the data models by implementing a feedback mechanism to the ML algorithms based on actual outcomes of the customer actions
• Provide necessary, timely and accurate inputs to Tech Lead towards any reporting requirement or impact assessments
• Operationalize data solutions against big data and cloud platforms
• Experiment, innovate, design Proof of Concepts to explore best suited approach and solutions pertaining to various functional requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive programming experience in Python, R Programming, Kafka, Scala or spark.
• Hands on experience in developing and implementing the latest machine learning models (e.g. Random Forests, Gradient Boosted Machines and Deep Neural Networks)
• Experience in use of AI/ML Python libraries e.g. TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy,Pandas,Scikit-learn and SciPy etc.
• Solid knowledge on SQL and RDMBS
• Experience in using Data integration tools such as Ab initio or Informatica

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Masters/Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics
• Data Scientist certification from reputed institute
