Job Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare designs, sketches and production of all types of Civil and Structural GA and detailed drawings.
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare bill of quantities and materials take-off list.
\xef\x82\xb7 Checking and approving drawings prior to submission for customer\xe2\x80\x99s review.
\xef\x82\xb7 Checking and approving of the bill of quantities and MTO list prior to submission for customer\xe2\x80\x99s review
\xef\x82\xb7 Supervised and coordinated all Civil and Structural designing and drafting work within assigned projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Delegates design and draft works to designers and draftsmen within the discipline.
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with Senior and Lead Discipline Engineers for all Design and Drafting supports required for assigned projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be able to perform site visits & inspections, data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works.
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be able to complete the assigned tasks and deliverables within the allotted budget and schedule.
\xef\x82\xb7 Must have supervisory skills to manage all discipline design and drafting works for the assigned projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for the overall production and quality of all drawings, BOQ, MTO lists and other design deliverables.
\xef\x82\xb7 Assist in the preparation of technical details for quotations, contract documentation and technical specifications.
\xef\x82\xb7 Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in the planning of projects as required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Quality Assurance \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Oceanergy Quality Assurance system.
\xef\x82\xb7 Safety \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices within Oceanergy and customers\' workplaces. Understand and follow basic OH&S procedures.
Essential Skills & Experience
Qualification: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree/ Diploma in Drafting Technology or equivalent.
Specialization- Offshore Structures
Preferred Experiences
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 10 years total working experience.
\xef\x82\xb7 At least 7 years of experience in design and drafting work, preferably in Hydrocarbon facilities
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum30 years experience as Senior/Lead Designer
\xef\x82\xb7 At least 5 years of experience in design and drafting work for infrastructure projects. (preferred)
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiar with International codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, BS, UBC/IBC, etc. that are relevant to design and drafting work.
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiar with basic International Design and Drafting standards.
\xef\x82\xb7 Expert user of AutoCAD and MicroStation Tekla, PDMS software.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience multiple projects will be added advantage
Skill Set:
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, structural, electrical,
instrumentation and piping etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proven ability to collaborate with team members from project management, estimating, and project controls
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail
\xef\x82\xb7 Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS/SP3D/PDS
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong analytical skills and ability to produce coherent, self-explanatory reports such as technical documents,
market research analysis and business advisory.
