Under general supervision, generates cash from customer account receivables (A/R) in an effective and timely manner; Develop and maintain internal and external customer relationships to effectively facilitate the collection process; May exercise limited authority to grant customer credit limits as skill and experience dictate; Responsible for assisting in the preparation of lien filings to secure accounts with oversight from more senior personnel; Analyzes customer financial information to assess risk and makes recommendations to establish new accounts; Identify and record customer disputes. May assist in credit investigation and evaluation. Typically requires an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and 2-4 years of experience in commercial collections, including experience in financial statement analysis.

Job Title: Senior Customer Financial Services Representative.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: The Customer Financial Services (CFS) Rep. takes an active role in improving Halliburton's DSO and free cash flow in India. This role facilitates:

  • regular review of Client's contract and service agreement to ensure accuracy of invoice details in accordance with Company's policies and practices
  • manage collection of A/R from assigned customer portfolio
  • identify and provide resolution of customer disputes including review and recommend resolutions on difficult collection accounts to minimize the company's losses
  • conduct regular review and provide accurate financial information to the management team (reporting of area DSO)
  • monitoring of ongoing legal matters related to specific customers.
  • assist on queries related with A/R (internal/external stakeholders)
This role maintains cross functional relationships with region and area Business Development and F&A teams to proactively address customer and A/R issues. Additionally, this role is a great leadership opportunity, as the individual will manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple areas. At times reviews or supervises portfolio management of more junior staff.

Basic Qualifications: Business Administration/Accounting/Finance or related field in both credit and collections

Total Years of Experience: 2-5 years of experience

Desired/Preferred Expertise: experience in SAP will be advantageous.
