Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and a self-driven candidate to join Asset Management Technology Organization on the Investment Accounting, Reporting an Performance management team. In this exciting and challenging role, the candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting Snowflake application developments across multiple Cloud data project, leveraging his/her expertise in Snowflake cloud to drive design/ best practice and adoption of Snowflake Cloud application.

Major Duties

• Snowflake developer will be responsible design and development of very large scale data cloud solutions using Snowflake capabilities and features.

• Work closely with application leads, data modelers, cloud engineers, QA testers and architects to support Snowflake application development needs.

• Communicates effectively with various business and Internal IT teams, outside vendors, consultants and conducts design reviews, code reviews and application integration to meet business needs.

• Supports Design and development of data ingestion, data transformations (ELT or ETL) and data publishing or Reporting features using Snowflake and Azure cloud environments.

• Ensures compliance with all audit requirements including change control procedures and data security, information governance and application specific compliance requirements.

• Experience using SnowSQL functions like Scalar, Aggregate, Windows and UDF functions & expert knowledge on data ingestion features like Snow stage, file formats, pipes, streams, sequence and task to ingest data.

• Experience using SnowCLI or Snowflake API features ,generating task, workflows, dependency etc. to load/unload data from Snowflake application.

• Experience working with database objects like schemas, tables/views, sequence & ability to design and develop of data loading DML, Stored Proc, Functions using SnowSQL.

• Understanding of data object management, Concepts of Transactions, SQL variables, schema/share data and Db management in snowflake

• Experience working in Snowflake API such as Kafka, Python or Spark for data loading, SQL API for interacting with Snowflake cloud or using snowpark API

• Experience working in Data Vault models, Reporting or Dimension data models and using Publish views in snowflake for reporting

• Experience in analyzing system requirements, design SQL solutions & Good working knowledge of any ETL tool (Alteryx, Informatica or SSIS etc.) is a plus

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI), Schedular applications like Control -M and Cloud tools like Azure data factory is preferred.

• Experience in handling end-to-end Cloud data projects in Agile delivery models

• Experience with any cloud platform \xe2\x80\x93 AWS/Azure/GCP

• Good communication and articulation skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management in high-pressure situations

• Experience in Financial Services Industry

• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle

• Prior experience with Agile Framework and Scrum ceremonies.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with partners and peers.

• Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.

• Familiar with US financial market a plus.

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• Overall 3-6+ Years of Industry experience
