Responsibilities
- Analyzing Requirements and assessing System Impact, documenting the Impact Analysis/Functional Specification
- Supporting the communication and delivery of functional requirements with relevant delivery teams
- Testing the changes and ensuring the successful implementation of requirements
- Functional traceability matrix preparation and maintenance
- Scenario/Test data identification and generation for test cases Defect validation
- Liaise with various business and project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to understand their needs and priorities as well as to pro-actively manage expectations buy-in, feedback and resolution of issues
- Build rapport and trust with industry analysts (Everest, Gartner, Tower group, IDC etc.) through various interaction types
- Research the viability of and market respect for analyst firms
 
Required Skills
 
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with experience and in-depth knowledge of Banking domain
 
- Strong Experience working in Banking domain – Savings, credits, settlement processes, EOD, payments, settlement, etc
- Experience working with any core banking applications such as SAP Banking IS, Alnova, Flexcube, and CRM applications like Pega, Siebel etc
- Experience in working with a North American/European based banks
- Good analytical and problem solving skills coupled with creativity and can-do attitude
- Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment with ability to remotely coordinate with various spread across different locations and time-zones
Desired Skills
- Understanding of Regulatory Compliance requirements in Banking
- Understanding of business rules applicable for banking products
- Experience in Assessing Compliance changes and analyzing impact
- Understanding of banking processes such as EOD batch jobs, data flows, payment file formats, etc
