Job Title Sr Cloud Solution Architect



Become part of Philips Cloud Orchestration Team and contribute towards implementing Philip\xe2\x80\x99s cloud strategy. This includes running services on-prem and in public & private cloud, drive cost optimization, manage cloud service providers and suppliers in everyday in operations of cloud service in architecture and technical governance. You live your principles by a strong belief that every problem has a solution that is just waiting to be found.

Personal / leadership skills:

The candidate will fulfill pivotal role in the hybrid- & multi-cloud landscape and progressing platform modernization in context of Migration and transformation journey (1) infra to application level, and (2) from on premise and single cloud to multiple and hybrid cloud (3) out of the box thinking and (4) debate solutions for merits and demerits (5) Own the solutions thru various stages of approvals (6) support platform teams for infra designing for cloud and on-prem services

The candidate will:

Act as trusted advisor to Philips as part of our team

Be member of CLA (Customer Landscape Architecture) team;

Provide landscape understanding and architecture guidance to the lead architect for Future Proof Platform transformation program

Preferably working in Phillips premises along with our team

Work exposure snippet:

• Provide technical leadership during complex troubleshooting and major incidents.
• Design and architect compute solutions in both on-prem and public cloud environment towards hybrid cloud management
• Define requirements and evaluate architectures, Various technical solutions, products, OEMs, and Partners against our technical requirements \xe2\x80\x93 technical, NFR such as operational resilience, scalability, reliability, performance.
• Lead in defining and building cloud strategy for Philips
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecasts \xe2\x80\x93 including day to day monitoring and tracking of cloud capacity & resource management for all services

• Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud
• Service Now process management \xe2\x80\x93 work with the service now developers and create the process flow.
• Managing the infrastructure hosting demands and assign to the right stakeholders.
• Regular interactions with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas and/or customers are also part of the job.

Experience

• Packed with experience in end-to-end landscape om-prem and cloud solution and transformation architect in Cloud as well as migrations from on-prem to cloud
• Solutioning experience in integration with security and monitoring components
• Provide solutions beyond technology and drive business value from the choice of architecture
• Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
• Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.
• Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications.
• Begins to influence architecture strategy. Supports in decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
• Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
• Application Modernization and Cloudification experience AWS must, Azure good to have
• Architect is expected to work as the solution manager / architect for the new demands received from customer
• Analyze the Cloud cost consumption pattern and provide optimization plans.
• Lead the cost optimization process using reserved instances and savings plans.
• Gather requirements and assist internal customers to express their needs and forecast their cloud usage.
• Support our procurement teams for contracts renewal and negotiations.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Knowledge of ITSM tool (Service NOW), Power Bi, MS Excel, SQL Queries, and Cloud-native cost management tools.
• Working knowledge on cloud chargeback reporting, show back, reserved instances, spend control, etc.
• Provide IT management with cost reports and KPIs.

• Experience in vendor management, SLA/OLAs, negotiations and escalations
• Experienced in Agile Methodology / DevOps /Lean methodologies

Technical Experience

• Data center services and cloud equivalent services with highly available & disaster architecture, Core infra services, translation of core services into cloud based services
• Defining, Deploying and managing scalability, resiliency and serviceability of all services
• Designing and developing Cloud deployments within given security context across various Suppliers.
• Right KPI definition for SLA / OLA for services in Supplier ecosystem
• Experience of Cloud infrastructure and PaaS services (AWS/ GCP/Azure). AWS, Multi and Hybrid- cloud, on-prem, vCenter, Connectivity, Firewalls, Proxy/Revers-Proxy, Windows & Linux, AD & AD policies, management tooling, security & compliance tooling
• Experience on Docker, Kubernetes and automation orchestrating through Cloud Management Platform
• Experience on Ansible , Tosca, YAML to create automations and manage systems
• Experience with On-prem and Cloud Network routing, Switching & knowledge of infra interfaces with Security, HCI, Compute, Storage
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and SD LAN networks using varied Technologies such as VMWare NSX, CISCO Firepower, RiverBed etc.
• Overall 18+ years of experience, Project cost management Experience (2+ years) specifically infrastructure and migration to cloud
• 5+ years of experience on Cloud technology, VMWare, Hybrid Cloud, Nutanix

Education:

• A Masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
• Process: Agile Methodology in scrum, Waterfall
• Certification in TOGAF added advantage
