You are responsible for

• Ensuring end-to-end data model consistency across processes and IT applications around Idea to Market related data domain and secure integration with relevant Domains.
• Gathering business and compliance requirements for information and document the requirements in information models
• Design and maintenance of both logical and physical data models for master data and transactional data where applicable
• Validation of the data model design with Business process experts, compliance officers and other key experts relevant to the subject
• Implementation of the data model in close alignment with IT Business Analysts and business SMEs
• Managing the change process related to data models
• Analysis and management of Data Sets changes across applications
• Deploy standards, templates and tools as defined within Information & Data Management
• Support and drive the agreements on governance of data impacted in the respective domain and IT platform
• Actively support the business transformation in data migration preparation and execution
• Support for documenting the business and compliance requirements in the Data Requirements Specification covering migration scope, migration rules, values mappings and data quality levels after migration
• Support for development of data quality rules to support reports development to provide insights on product data quality
• Support the business for data cleansing and data construction activities

You are a part of

The Information and Data Management team within Innovation and Engineering IT Group, reporting to the PLM Deployment Manager. You will be working closely with Business Information Owners, Business Process Experts, IT Business Analysts and Business SMEs to design, implement and maintain end-to-end data model related to one or more data domains.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• Bachelor/master's degree in Information Management, Data Management, Information Technology or equivalent
• 10 to 15 years of experience in data management and related process areas
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data designs, data analysis functions
• 3+ years of experience with relevant business processes or IT systems on Idea to Market domain specifically on Product Life Cycle Management, Product development and Industrialization processes.
• 3+ years of experience in leading teams and people
• Experience in managing global projects and teams in a matrix organization
• Experience in Source to Target mapping, Data modeling, Data migration, data cleansing etc.
• Certified consultant in domain specific platform relevant systems such as PTC Windchill, SAP, SAP Power Designer, is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and experience in data profiling and analysis
• Strong & clear communicator, able to communicate with stakeholders on multiple levels
