About the Role In this role you will work with the business partners to identify and understand their needs, assess the impact of the system, process changes and document the same. You will closely work with Solution architects from Digital organization, functional leaders from Business and build consensus to integrate solutions put in place by IT initiatives. Support Engineering projects with focus on Program Execution Management system. You are accountable for deliverables in business requirements, training and user acceptance testing phases of PEM projects. You will also be the key liaison for all communications with the solution provider and the BU. What You Will Do Strategic competencies Envision creative solutions to business challenges through constant analysis of the organization\'s strategic business needs Conduct ROI and benefits assessment on initiatives Establish common processes and platforms; drive standards and best-practices Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity Create and present reports to executive team members and shareholders to support recommendations Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights Have a good understanding of integrations and data models. Solution Architect background/experience will be very useful as well, but not mandatory. Project-related competencies Initiation & Planning Define the business problem and primary objectives of new projects Engage is pre project prep work with the business unit integrators and business leadership to form business goals that lay the foundation for business requirements gathering Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and business requirements and deliver the BRD, use cases, user experience and interface designs Solution Selection Process Develop scoring methodology and pattern Work with Stake holders for Application scoring Develop analytics and provide useful reports to stake holders Use Business Process Modeling techniques and methods Capture AS-IS and define TO-BE process Participate in Workshop to finalize and prioritize functional requirements Co-Ordinate and Develop Project plan involving testing and training Project Execution Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Critically evaluate and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow Lead Regression Testing, UAT planning and execution with business and IT Closing Obtain business alignment. Facilitate troubleshooting of remaining issues and bring conclusion Actively participate in training strategy, planning, and coordinated execution. Actively engage the power users from the business teams in training the end users Manage training material development with vendor Provide Post go live support coordination Post go live issues resolution Operational core competencies Process Leadership Lead cross-functional business process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts Support proactive provisioning of training to user community as required Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams Problem Solving Quickly analyze and communicate the business process and data challenges caused by system issues Communication: Use various forms of written and verbal communication to gather information about a business and create reports. Analysts are required to communicate with team members of all levels. Technical: Upgrading, trouble shooting and implementing new hardware programs is one of the requirements of a systems analyst. Project management: Strongly developed organizational and time management skills are important to move a project from beginning to completion. What You Need Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in managing a PPM tool (Kantata, Project Server, HP PPM, CA Clarity, Primavera etc.) PMP or other equivalent certification Strong experience of project management methodology including demand management, schedule management, time management, resource management, project financial management and prioritize Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool releases Certifications on Lean Business methodologies Strong analytical and product management skills Experience working with and managing vendors Possess understanding in the areas of PLM, IoT, SAP, Salesforce, Workday, among other SaaS/PaaS Solutions Ability to work within a global matrixed organization and communicate at all levels Professional consulting experience Strong experience with tools such as MS Office, Visio, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence and AtTask What is Nice to Have Business Analysis certification CBAP\xc2\xae or equivalent HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
