Job Description


Responsible for assisting leadership with plan design, tracking and evaluating tends, as well as renewal strategy coupled with day-to-day administration and ensuring compliance of all local benefits (i.e. health & welfare and retirement) plans. Also drives project management and delivery of small-to-medium and/or concurrent long-term initiatives in support of global benefits strategic goals. This role leverages collaborative relationship with carrier account manager partners and broker consultants, is integral to driving improved operational efficiency and effectiveness, and is responsible for elevating employee experience of benefits programs while fostering strong collaborative relationships with internal/external partners and key stakeholders alike. (i.e. HR, Finance, Global Mobility, Legal, outside counsel, Payroll, HRIS, international & local BORs, etc.) Essential Job Functions (5-7 primary responsibilities listed in order of importance with a the percentage of time spent on each to total 100 %.) Responsibility % of Time Health & Welfare Plan – Compliance, Administration & Annual Renewals

  • Day-to-day administration of plan compliance including employee benefits related data management, regulatory documentation, consistent audits of current benefits utilization and projected costs
  • Field escalated employee questions associated with plan inclusions/exclusions not easily interpreted
  • Maintain inventory of insured and non-insured benefits programs/offerings in partnership with broker consultants
  • Monitor trends, make recommendations to leadership in alignment with local regulations, culture and benefits strategy
  • Lead quarterly reviews/annual renewal meetings with carriers/broker partners and join leadership in related discussions on plan design, cost-share, future plan year strategies, etc.
25% HRIS – Benefits Processes & Module Configuration
  • Provide primary configuration support of annual Open Enrollments facilitated via Workday / external insurer portals
  • Ensure ongoing accuracy of plan configuration and corresponding payroll deductions in Workday per annual renewals
  • Ownership of process improvements from recommendation/approval/soliciting buy-in through to execution/implementation
20% M&A
  • Partner with leadership and broker consultants in providing direct support to deal team through due diligence, (including budget estimates, comparisons, etc.)
  • Evaluating scenarios for navigating integration of acquired populations/plans and facilitating employee onboarding in partnership with HR
15% Reporting, Analytics & Auditing
  • Support external and internal audit requirements and implement recommendations as applicable
  • Evaluation of internal/external sources of data for leveraging of plan analytics
15% Employee Communications
  • Provide timely communication to employees about their benefits and educate them on CSG benefits offerings
  • Maintain library of benefits overviews, guides and eGuides in concert with broker consultant partners
10% Absence
  • Partner with team, HR, and HRIS on recurring and ad hoc absence-related deliverables
  • Make recommendations with respect to process improvements and best practices

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
Experience (Minimum level of related experience and preferred experience that is also beneficial to have in this job.)
  • 5 years experience in benefits role in APAC region (specifically India)
Preferred
  • Experience administering end to end benefits in the APAC region preferably Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, India
  • Experience with M&A including due diligence, deal support, as well as related vendor and employee onboarding
