Job Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Aon Reinsurance QA teamwith strong experience in automation testing, particularly using Playwright and Git. Theideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about deliveringhigh-quality software. This role emphasizes automation development, execution, andcontinuous integration practices.QA Tester Responsibilities? Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript with a solid understanding ofobject-oriented programming (OOP) principles; experience building automationframeworks from the ground up.? Strong knowledge of API testing with an automation framework and preferablywith Playwright.? Review and analyze features and user stories to ensure full understanding ofdeliverables? Identify test requirements and document detailed, comprehensive test cases andscenarios? Collaborate with QA colleagues to develop effective test strategies and plans? Develop and execute automated test cases using Playwright; analyze results toensure alignment with functional and design specifications? Report and document defects clearly and concisely? Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration? Communicate blockers and risks to avoid project delays? Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues? Coordinate with Product Owners and stakeholders on release planning andvalidation? Conduct post-release and post-production testing? Adhere to QA team policies, processes, and best practicesMust Have? Minimum of 7 years of automation testing experience? Minimum of 1 year of experience using Playwright for test automation? Experience with Git for version control and CI/CD integration? Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision? Strong understanding of testing fundamentals and SDLC?
