The Sr Analyst Technical Initiatives and Strategy plays a valuable part, serving as an operational contact and acting as a bridge between the different organization\xe2\x80\x99s within Empower. The ideal candidate will collect, monitor and study business processes and develop strategies to improve upon them. They will work with other teams to ensure that they have the tools necessary to succeed and help in resolving internal issues all the while ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction.

What you will do:

  • Troubleshoot internal queries from within and across the organization and ensure a quick resolution.
  • Analyze current procedures and make recommendations on how to improve and scale.
  • Document current procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure ongoing continuity amongst teams within the Organization and greater Empower.
  • Performs the formulation, definition, analysis, documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials), testing and maintenance of highly complex systems/application scope and objectives, and training while working closely with systems architecture, development, engineering teams and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key functional stakeholders to analyze business issues, to define requirements, design solutions, determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats to make recommendations to solve organizational issues.
  • Accountable for supporting the customer relationship providing support, guidance, troubleshooting and resolutions to existing vendor relationships as they arise.
  • Acts as the primary liaison between key business area and systems teams, communicating updates, changes or issues to key stakeholders.
  • Maintains documentation, project tracking, and key stakeholder reporting metrics.
  • Accountable for training and other activities involved in onboarding, engineering enablement and offboarding.
  • Provide optimal and cost-effective solutions to business teams in achieving business objectives.
  • Provide functional and technical guidance to business teams when needed.
  • Conduct Business Meetings and assist Project Managers in developing project plans, including budgets, timelines and forecasts.
What you will bring:
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to provide guidance, leadership, and mentorship while fostering internal relationships with team members, leaders and executives.
  • The ability to establish, kindle and maintain strong relationships with vendors and when needed aid in the resolution of contract and personnel issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology including experience with Jira and Confluence
  • 5-8 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, process improvement or related field
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree our equivalent (4 additional years) experience from an accredited College or University

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • A background in Retirement, Finance or the Insurance Industry
  • A high level of proficiency with technology including Jira, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from an accredited College or University
