Sr Analyst Software Engineer in Manual Testing Role Overview: Key Responsibilities Experience of working through STLC Test case design, analyzing Test Results, Defect Reporting & Tracking on regular basis. Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle applying best practices and Agile software development methodologies. Collaboratively work with various cross-functional teams across the globe. Desired Experience and Qualification Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a software-related discipline. Candidate should possess 2-5yrs of exp in Manual Testing and SQL queries. Knowledge of functional, regression and ad-hoc testing Experience in writing clear and concise test cases Proven work experience in software quality assurance Proven work experience in agile software development Understanding the business requirements and speaking to the BA and product owner if there are any deviations Identifying the requirement gaps Write a detailed test case as per the business use case, paying attention to identifying the defect Executing regression test cases and sharing the report on a daily basis Report bugs and errors to development teams with a detailed bug report. Update and maintain the n-1 regression test cases and review the same. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Critical thinking through testing A big focus on how to \'break\' the system Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate across teams. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, RestAssured)is a plus Executing the automation scripts and maintaining the same is a plus Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#) is a plus Knowledge of the TestNG framework is a plus A position profile does not imply that the duties stated are the only ones to be performed by the incumbent.
