Inception: 2011Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated ESG Analyst to join our sustainability reporting team. The ESG Analyst will play a key role in evaluating and monitoring the company\'s ESG performance, maintaining first the ESG Community, secondly securing high data quality \xc3\xa0 to be the right hand to our METRO AG Sustainability Controlling. Self developing to be a ESG Subject Matter Expert.Responsibilities in order of priority:

• Keen on data quality achieving reliable emission calculation across all entities and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s

• Responsible to collect, transform and report ESG data from various stakeholders (preparation pre-closing, closing and wrap-up)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather ESG data, assess performance, and develop strategies to enhance ESG system and its performance.

• Proactive steering the on-boarding for new joiners (Colleagues and Entities).

• Prepare ESG reports, presentations, and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and NGOs.

• Engage with stakeholders on ESG-related ad-hoc requests, inquiries and reports / disclosures.

• To further develop processes as sustainability management subject matter expert.

• Bachelor\'s degree in environmental science, sustainability, finance, business, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ESG analysis, sustainability consulting, corporate social responsibility (CSR), or related field.

• Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards (e.g., GRI, CSRD, SASB, TCFD, CDP).

• Proficiency in data analysis, including experience with ESG data sources, databases, and software tools.

• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights effectively.

• Experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ESG issues and solutions to diverse audiences.

• Self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
